Changes to voltage and phase were coordinated with facility mechanical for correct conservation of power, and additional planning with SFPUC and PG&E was required.
EDesignC’s engineering support was provided through construction administration, ending in August 2020. The Garfield Pool Rehabilitation was awarded the 2022 Preservation Design Award for Rehabilitation by the California Preservation Foundation. The award recognizes the expanded access and use of the pool facility within updates that maintain the scale of the historic structure, and its cultural place within the Mission community.
